The Nut Stand needs fun people who love talking to people.
We sell fresh roasted and glazed nuts that we roast on site. This position is all about engaging the potential customer. The nuts do most of the talking, you just have to start the conversation.
I am not looking for the annoying kiosk salesperson who doesn’t take No for an answer. I am looking for someone who is comfortable talking to everyone. Because we have a new product – if we don’t sample, we don’t sell. You will ask everyone who walks by if they would like a sample and engage them and talk about our nuts once you have their attention.
We need people who are good with interacting with customers, offering samples, telling customers about products, and upselling. You should have a great personality and be able to multi-task, handle stress, and remain positive and upbeat throughout your shift. The position will require lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, squatting, and standing for long periods. Your main duties will be to pass out samples and coupons to customers passing by our kiosk.
Our application process is different than most. After an initial brief conversation, you will be brought in to work the floor for a couple of days so we get to see how you interact with customers and staff. You will be paid $10/hour for this day. You will be paid at the end of each day by check.
If you are interested, let me know:
when you are available to talk by phone for about 10 minutes;
what days/times are you available to work;
what day(s) you can come in for your tryout.
Pay: $10/hour plus tips with bonuses possible.
REQUIRED: Please respond with your availability and the answers to the following questions.
– What are 3 things you look for in an ideal job?
– What makes you stand out from other candidates?
– Tell us about an experience you’ve had that relates to this position.
– How do you stay motivated when doing a repetitive task? Please provide examples of when you had to do repetitive work.
If you have a resume, please send it to Lynne@TheNutStand.com
I look forward to hearing from you.
